Getting started: earning the ACI Standard badge
For new instructors, here are the steps to earn your ACI Standard badge:
Affiliate with a partner
Earning the recognition as an ACI is exclusively available to instructors who work with Autodesk Learning Partners so you will need to be affiliated with at least one Learning Partner before you apply.
Submit an application
Complete the Instructor Approval to Train Autodesk Products Request Form and send to our team at your regional distributor.
We will add you to Autodesk’s Partner Database and issue you a unique Autodesk Instructor ID Number.
First 90 days
Within 90 days of receiving your Instructor ID, you must:
– Create your Autodesk Learning Central (ALC) profile and complete the Course Training the Trainer.
– Maintain active, continued use of the Autodesk Training Evaluation System (TES).
Maintaining ACI Standard and earning higher tier badges
To maintain your ACI Standard badge, you’ll need to complete annual maintenance requirements. Please refer to the ACI Program Guide in the links section below for more information.
Remember to undertake these two core activities annually:
| Teach a minimum of Autodesk product training courses. – Schedule all your Autodesk courses in the Training Evaluation System (TES) and provide surveys to training participants. – Maintain the minimum instructor satisfaction rating of 85% performance score in TES during the program year. |
| Complete a minimum of professional development courses. – Complete the Autodesk Learning Central (ALC) course “Training the Trainer”. – Complete product or industry courses in the ALC – the course topic must be an Autodesk software product workflow that you are authorized to train. – Complete a minimum of course topics for continuing professional development training and improving instructional skills or methodologies in the ALC. |
ACI Instructors who maintain ACI certification for more than 3 years will also earn an ACI tier badge.
Silver ACI
ACI Certification maintained annually for three years.
Gold ACI
ACI Certification maintained annually for six years.
Platinum ACI
ACI Certification maintained annually for nine years.
